Description

Bois Blanc Island is a small island community located north of Cheboygan, Michigan in Lake Huron. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to spend the day, a summer vacation or all of one’s life. It is important to maintain the charm and beauty that draws people here from all over the country. The wildlife of Bois Blanc Island is virtually untouched and it is one of the few places in the United States where community and nature coexist. The residents on the island are proud to share its tranquility and maintain its integrity. The island and its summer and full time residents are a small sample of Midwestern charm and activities. In the summer visitors will be welcomed with the scent of wildflowers and in the winter trade that smell for fresh pine and cedar. The island is just a short ferry ride from Cheboygan, Michigan but is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come here to play or leave your worries behind and just relax.
